This policy explains what information CurrentTrove collects when you use the binder-planning tool, why, and what we don't collect. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello.currenttrove@gmail.com.
What We Collect
- Account email. If you create an account, your email address is stored by our authentication provider (Supabase) so you can sign in and sync your binders across devices.
- Binder contents. The binders, pages, and card placements you create are stored so they're there when you come back. This data belongs to you and isn't shared with anyone else.
- Card search terms. When you search for a card, the search text is sent to TCGdex's public card database to fetch results. No account or personal information is included in that request.
What We Don't Collect
No analytics or tracking scripts, no advertising trackers, and no cookies. Signing in relies on your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, not cookies. If you use CurrentTrove without an account, everything you create stays in your browser's local storage on your device and is never sent anywhere.
Payment Information
Payments for CurrentTrove Plus are handled entirely by Stripe. CurrentTrove never receives or stores your card number or other payment details -- we only keep a reference to your Stripe customer record and your current subscription status, so we know which plan you're on.
How Your Data Is Stored
Signed-in data is stored in a Supabase (Postgres) database with Row Level Security enabled, which restricts every account to reading and writing only its own data -- we've designed the system so one account's data is never visible to another.
Third Parties We Use
- Supabase -- hosting, authentication, and database storage.
- Stripe -- payment processing for CurrentTrove Plus.
- TCGdex -- a public, third-party Pokemon card database used for card search. Only your search text is sent to it.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello.currenttrove@gmail.com. We handle deletion requests manually today; deleting your account removes your binders and subscription record along with it.
Children's Privacy
CurrentTrove is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as CurrentTrove changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
